Hi Guys.

I always try and keep my pictures in a 3:2 ratio.

I have a few prints (8x12) and im already having trouble finding frames for them (doesn't seem to be a standard size in shops althugh I am aware you can order them in).

I just wondered where you guys go if you want to get a 3:2 ratio frame?

I'm going to be printing some 30x20 and and maybe 36x24 soon and just wanted to know how you guys go about getting such sizes framed?

Standard photo/poster frame sizes are 6x4, 5x5, 7x5, 8x6, 8x8, 10x8, 12x8,
A4, 12x10, 14x11, 16x12, A3, 20x16, A2, A1, 50x70cm, 60x80cm.

With every one in the land now owning a printer and printing non standard sized prints we get a lot of lip because we don't have a frame to fit.

"I have printed this and it is 20 x 7.5 inches and I want a frame for it"
then when we offer bespoke framing the retort is "I'm not paying for that, why don't you stock proper frame sizes"

Well, last night I ordered a bespoke frame to fit a 30x20 poster print. I am more than happy to form out for a quality frame if thats what it takes. It just wasnt clear to me what "standard" frame sizes were

Understand the feeling.

I wish A3+ was considered a standard size
