Beginner Pictures of my Little man taken with Nikon d3300 and 35mm 1.8 prime

The eyes look a bit soft, possibly focus being set on the hair/forehead?
 
Some nice photos of your wee man. When shooting kids it can sometimes work better if you can get down to their level.
 
thanks guys, no my focus point was on his eyes for sure, it was just the off moment chance taking them down on him as I was doing his monthly photos, all the rest im at his level :)
