I had pixel prawns on my Sony and they were as reliable as the day is long. But the pixel soldier for my Nikon arrived last week, was fine until this evening when pressing the button caused... well, nothing.
I changed the battery - no dice. I opened the thing up - no bad connections, no faults I could see. The only thing there is that, if you press the battery in, you get three flashes off the indicator light and that's it. Even if you hold the battery in that position, there's still no power.
I have a shoot planned for tomorrow and no backup, so any advice anyone can offer would be gratefully appreciated.
