Hi everybody,

I just wondered if anybody had any tips on areas I could look at for wildlife photography, especially BOP, kingfishers, otters, deer which are my favourite, not knowing the area it’s difficult to know where to start, google have come up with a few areas, but would like some answers from like minded people also, thanks i

It might help to know which part of Norfolk as it is a fairly big county.

You might find that the Norfolk Wildlife Trust is a helpful start, see:
https://www.norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk/home

They have a lot of nature reserves all over the county that cater for most tastes. Also the RSPB have a number of sites in the county, and there are the national nature reserves there too:

Hope this might help a little.

Thanks for that most helpful I’m located in west Norfolk but happy to travel anywhere in the county

I'll give my stock answer to any photographer asking for places to visit in Norfolk...... WEX, Norwich ;)

Titchwell, Cley, Holkham Hall (deer and a good place for Hawfinch), Stiffkey(raptors and little egrets). Barn owls can be seen anywhere and look out for little owls perched in small trees alongside minor roads. A pair of binoculars is a useful tool.
