Hired a 100mm Macro, and took these. Imported 253 images into Lightroom over the course of two days eek and this is about the first 4 I've done anything with. C&C welcome, of course.

It's an Aeonium, but I'm not 100% sure of the subspecies:


Tree Fern:


Pass on what this is - it was originally more pink, but I played about with the Levels in PS and arrived at this (not entirely sure if it works):

Very nice set to start with.

The Aeonium creates a sense of movement.I have no idea about the size of these and wonder if you could get any closer?

I'd like to see even more detail of the tree fern,to fill the frame if poss.

The pink one is very pretty but it's a shame you missed that tiny part of the stamens(?)

The livingstone daisy is lovely and the dof works very nicely. My fav.

Hope the other 246 are as good.

Loads of OOF or really soft ones - it's been a lot of a learning curve :|
