Yes
I tried everything I could think of to get this sharp (but still failed,as you can see!). Upped the ISO to the max my camera would allow (64000), highest aperture (f2.8), but it was till moving too fast for me, plus it was very dark. Has anyone ever succeeded in getting a shot like this - if so, I'd be grateful to know how?

Flash, if that is at all possible? Don't know how you feel about that with animals though

Did you have AI Servo focus on your camera? That will track it as it moves. That may have helped you too.

Just seen your camera, a 5DII? A great camera, but not ideal for a shot like. You need a quick focus and a larger number of focus points for tracking.

Hi. Yes, I used Al Servo, and couldn't use flash because it would have simply bounced off the glass. I think I'll just stick to portraits!

If it's captive behind glass, you need to get the lens right up against the glass to use flash, keep the lens hood on to help
