Hi Everyone

I'm starting to tear my hair out and wondered if someone could help me please.

I've got a PS3, been playing online for well over 3 months, and now my connection has gone really intermittent.

I've got wireless internet connection with the PS3 that's working ok and we've got 2 laptops working wirelessly with no probs.

I keep getting signed out of Playstation Network and I'm getting game-lag when I do play sometimes.

Any ideas??

Alison :)

Have you changed anything in the network......moved the router?.....moved the PS3?.

Is anyone using another machine in the house to download things and is robbing all the bandwidth?

My PS3 gets drops the network connection so much that I cant stream a song from the downstairs PC let alone play online!!. The inbuild wireless on the PS3 is beyond useless.

Same problem and after some digging on the net tried setting the ps3 with fxd IP and turning of ssid off the router, seems to work at the mo, not sure why.

Not changed anything and no one is using another machine to download anything.

It's really strange and so frustrating, it lets me play fine some days for a few hours no problems, then other times, like tonight, it starts playing up :bang:

I've been digging on the net as well, seems we're not the only ones eh?

How do I set a fixed IP?

Check the settings when its set up automatically make a note of, go back in manually then change the last three numbers on the IP address to something like 120 save then ps3 willthen check if all is working.

Ok, I'll try that - its behaving itself again at the moment, thank you for your help :)
