Ok sorry for the complication here's where I am:
1) Im sending back my d3100 as the SD cover/door is a really crappy fit. Should get a refund for it in a couple of days.
2) I have an incoming 20mm F1.7 Lumix G lens.
Should I:
a) get another d3100 (hopefully with a better fitting SD door)
or
b) also send back under distance selling regs the 20mm f1.7, plus the refund on the d3100 and get a 550d or maybe even the 600d?
I'm a massive prime lens fan, but I really love the high ISO capabilities of the present 550d/d3100 generations compared to the current Panasonic bodies. I could afford to keep a d3100 and the new Lumix lens, but can't afford both the lens and a 550d/600d. However, I love the metal bodies of the Gf1 series.
I really can't decide - am limited in funds, but obviously need to make a decision in the next 24 hours or so.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
