Please help Sony A55 vs A37

Hi there :) Can't choose out of these two. I can get the a55 for 270 second hand good condition or the a37 for 319 brand new. which is the better camera overall out of the two.

Very little to choose between them, but I'd go for the a37 as it's newer and has manual focus peaking. The only downside would be the lower resolution rear LCD.

The a55 is good but has a few small irritations that were ironed out in later models.
 
thanks for your reply. is the overheating issue of the a55 really as bad as some reviews say? The rear lcd of the a55 is a big plus for me but battery life is very important also. does the a37 have heating issues?

The a55 will overheat when videoing with SSS on after a while (eg 6 to 20 minutes depending on ambient temp). Later SLTs don't.

Worst thing about the a55 was not being able to override the WYSIWYG viewfinder. Made working with studio flash a pain, IMO.
