please help yet another site review

I would always suggest that you have a thumbnail gallery, so when you jump to that page, we can see all the images, what I do not like is to scroll through all the images you have, when plainly not all of them will interest me.

First impressions is ..

The general layout looks a bit odd with the main (black) area pushed up to the top left, and the the rest being a big white reversed L-shape, containing nothing but some small font text in the top right.

It just doesn't come across as interesting or inviting.
 
ermmmmm.... not arguing the frame is off central, however centralise the frame means the banner/logo/menu got to be on top to symmetric the layout, so that push the photo frame down. On low res monitors this means scrolling bar on the right.

However the text on the right looks odd where it is when viewed full screen, but if I reduce the size of the window it pops underneath the black area

That's with IE9 (at a res of 1680 x 1050) though
