My friend has just bought a piece of software for his Mac which is a plugin.
Should this install automatically in CS3 or do you have to drag and drop the plugin to the respective folder, if so, could you please tell me the root to the plugin folder.
With Windows i know it is something like Program files>Adobe>Presets etc but not sure root with a Mac.
Appreciate any help
thanks
Dave

Quit Photoshop if it's open

Drop it into /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Plug-Ins/ if it's installed in the default location.

Thanks Rob will give it a go

Rob.. to use the NIK software on a mac, photoshop has to be in 32bit mode. what does 64bit mode do that 32 doesnt?

64-bit allows Photoshop to use more than 4 GB of RAM if you have it available on your computer.

You'll need to be working on very large files for that to make much difference.
