Bro-in-law has commented on wanting a camcorder for xmas and mentioned to his mum that he liked the FLIP video cameras, however after looking at them they only seem to use the USB connector that is built in. To me looks like it only really works with a laptop otherwise there would be too much strain due to the weight.
Another option i've spotted is the Kodak ZX1, HD 702p same as the flip. Bang on budget at £100 and comes with batteries, charger and i think a HDMI cable.
Anyone any experience with these two cameras? or can suggest others for the same price?
