Point and shoot for around £200

How small does it need to be? Pocket sized or handbag sized?

There are a few deals on Canon S110s at the moment which might do the trick.
 
I bought a Samsung EX2F for just this reason, and could well be selling it soon so feel free to message me if interested

As i've mentioned in another thread it wasn't my first choice, but arriving in time for the holiday was my main deciding factor

Other than a glary screen in very bright sunlight I thought it was a good camera for holiday snaps, and the auto modes made it easy enough to take decent photos quickly.

I'm probably one of the least experienced photographers on here though, so happy to have my review ripped apart if anyone knows of any major flaws etc :)

oh the removable lens cap is a bit of pain too, but other than that I really liked the camera
