Hi all,

I have just upgraded to the 5d mk ii with the 24mm - 105mm lens and am looking at purchasing some polarisers to enhance my shots. I'm off to Morocco trekking across mountains and deserts and want to enhance my shots. Has anyone got any recommendations and also information to look at?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

If its just a polariser you want a Hoya Pro 1 Digital Circular Polariser will do the job. If your needing to use a filter system, Its recomended to stack the polariser after the grad or filter but there are some circular polarisers which can slot into the holder. I think you need to be looking at the 100mm systems like coking Z, Hitech or Lee.

Hoya Pro1 is ironically the one I wouldn't recommend. They are nice, but they scratch way too easily. Lenstip.pl say the same. Hoya HD or Kenco top series are fine though. You can also look at Sigma EX, Marumi and BW. As long as they are multicoated and slim, they will do the job

I picked up a marumi cpl this summer after changing cameras and lenses and I much prefer it to the hoya it replaced.
