Hi there does anyone know if you can still buy fil for an old mamiya large format camera - manual says land film 3000 type 157 for a polaroid land camera. Any ideas if i can get hold of something similar?

Hi Anna,

I think the Impossible Project now make Polaroid films.

It depends on which camera it is, and which back you have for it. If it is a 5x4 camera then your only real option now is the fuji pack film, for which you need either a PA-45 holder from Fuji, or a polaroid 550 holder. If you have any other large format polarod back you either need to strike it lucky and find someone with a freezer full of old film they don't want, or get rid of the holder. No-one make single sheet large format polaroids anymore (I believe) which is what your manual is talking about (I think it is type 57 which is a 3000 ISO black and white film)

Many thanks for your replies. The camera is a Mamiya Press (1962/3)...yeah i know it's old. So I guess the fuji would be best. Thanks again.
