Pollok Park...Britains Best Park 2007

Pollok Park was voted Britains best park 2007 really is a rugged & beautiful place. It has Burrell collection, Pollok House and old water mill & stables. Gets over 2 million visitors a year, shame Glasgow District Council (the twits) want to commercialise it more. Not being happy with sticking Burrell collection in middle a motorway thru it, houses at side of it.... oooops sorry rant over

i think the HDR is overdone personally, i'd like to see the non -HDR versions though, i imagine they'll be great

Have to agree about the HDR - These shots looks like they would stand up on there own merit without HDR use. Nothing wrong with experimentation though.

1st one uncropped untouched from camera. meesed up got couple same but with people so as usual picked wrong one, twice as i forgot edited out someone walking dog & bird

I've passed it a thousand times and have never had the inclination to go there..... Seeing your images OF I'm now putting this on my list for 08 places to go. Living in Lanarkshire you'd think I would have seen it!!

I think this one is much nicer. The HDR ones look as though they could be one of those silk pictures they used to put on top of chocolate boxes.

Cracking shots, it's hard to believe that it's right in the middle of Glasgow (well almost), I've not been in there with the camera, but like EOS JD, i'll be in there this year!

Would be a good starting place to go We could meet there early and travel north or west.
