pop-up flash bulb replacement

Is it possible to do? I use a 350d for a carry round camera so I dont need to cart the main kit about and the flash has died on me.

It pops up and the camera indicates flash is active but it doesn't fire. The glass on the front of the flash is discoloured which is what makes me think it's burnt out.

So the question is are spare bulbs available and is it possible to fit them rather than taking the cam to a sevice centre and paying more than the camera is worth?

Try phoning Norfolk Cameras - I've dealt with them in the past and they were very helpfull, very informative and very well priced when I used them - if it is possible to change, they hopefully will know and should be able to give you a price.

Or keep an eye out on ebay for a damaged one and just nick the flash - bit of a long shot but worth a go...
