Free Poppy fields in N Wales or Cheshire?

Hi all, are there any poppy fields in the above location? I recently moved to Wrexham and the area seems a little devoid of them in comparison to Shropshire where I came from

There was a lot in Port Eynon in the Gower nr Swansea some years back but I haven't been there for ages now.

I'd guess you'd need to take the A525 in either direction to where the vales flatten out - Rhuddlan way or towards somewhere like Bangor on Dee. Just a guess on my part as I don;t remember them much in my youth. I reckon that Wrexham borough itself having been very industrial won't be the ideal environment for these...

I’ve lived in n.wales for 30+ years and travelled around with work .. I don’t recall seeing any poppy fields . However I do get wild yellow poppies ? growing in the garden

It was only when I moved to North Yorkshire in 1997 I was aware of poppy fields....10 years after leaving for college and work...
