I don't know wether this has been discussed before (cannot find it using search) it would be interesting to see what is the most popular camera used by members.

Not sure what the most popular is, but I'm pretty sure we'll all agree that the D90 has been the least popular camera on the forum ever since it came out, what was Nikon thinking when it released that? :bang:

Surely the Mk 2 addressed all the earlier Mk 1 issues and is now a far better camera, especially with the heated grip.

You could try a poll, but you'd need to list a lot of cameras! It's too open a question I'm afraid to get a proper answer. :)
 
Easy enough to post a poll based on brands, but a lot harder if you want to include models. It would provide an indication, but that's about all, because it would be impossible to say what proportion of members responded.

I would hazard a guess at 5D2, 1D3, D3100 and D700 with a good showing of Panny G1s

I bet iPhone.

If it came to a Popular Camera set of Top Trumps, I think when iPhone came up in your hand you'd be bidding "popularity" every time. After all, it's not going to win on much else.. ..
 
I use a d3000 and yes my iPhone

In the world then yes, iPhone it would definitely be - but the OP did say amongst forum members. Apart from a few diehards they seem to be pretty hated on here from what I've seen :lol:
 
You could find out what the whole world is using the most by looking at the [camera finder] on flickr, that will give you the most current placings, i.e at the moment Nikon's D90 with 77,573,195 and Canon's 5D MkII with 61,376,280 uploads !!
