I've a Yongnuo 560 III flashgun and trigger, can anyone suggest a portable/retractable softbox that this Yongnuo can attach to? I've no knowledge in this area whatsoever. Are the Godox flash series a better quality purchase in the long run compared to my Yongnuo?

Sorry, two questions in one.

Any advice/knowledge/advice greatly appreciated as always.

If you just want to try it out and get started you can pick up a 60cm softbox and mount for the speedlite of eBay for very little. I find it enough for one person portraits but if wanting to shoot groups you'll need something bigger and more power than the 1 speedlite.

Don't know much about godox first hand but their flash with the lithium battery looks very interesting, just a pity they don't have built in wireless receivers like some of the Yongnuo.

Not sure if you have the triggers for the flash gun, and a light stand to use it all.

I have tried a few. If you want one that's cheap & cheerful then try the Godox 60cm

However, the best I used for a speedlight was the Westcott Rapidbox but it's a LOT more expensive.

I only sold the latter because it can't fit my AD360 in properly whereas the Godox does. I originally tried a cheaper version of the Godox, I can't remember the brand but it was rubbish. It just flopped about and kept falling off the mount. The Godox whilst not perfect is way more sturdy. It takes a few minutes to figure out how to fold it but once you have the knack, it's really quick.

How do you find the flash brackets on the godox one? Look a bit quicker to use than the usual got shoe mounted ones.
