Portencross Pier at the end of Ophelia iPhone 8plus long exposure

went down to portencross this morning to try and get some of the pier with the remnants of Ophelia. spray kept covering the lens on my nikon ruining any chance of getting photos on my dslr. I decided to try the long exposure function of my new iPhone 8 Plus. I was particularly pleased, and surprised at the results. C+C Welcome.

Agreed, good for a phone, though I'm surprised the end of the jetty seems so soft when the near rocks are crisp.

Incredible for a phone shot. Don't know why we bother hauling gear around when you can get results like this.

I just bought an iPhone 8 plus and the camera function has given me a few pleasant surprises! I agree some photographs can look a little soft especially when using some of the portrait filters.
However getting back on topic a great photograph either way.
