Not what I was expecting when I saw the title. No pier for starters!

I like the second one the best, much more drama in the shot with the waves breaking against the rocks.

Looks like a great place to shoot.
I prefer the second image, as there's more foreground interest.

Second one for me too but I'd love to see it when the sky's a bit moody and the waves are plunging in. Both nice shots though.
