If anyone is looking for inspiration and is interested in contemporary photography they should see if they can get their hands on some copies of Portfolio. It is a fantastic magazine full of interesting essays and stunning, thought provoking images. There are only two releases a year but it's worth both the price and the wait.

Edward Burtynsky is one of my favourite photographers. Considering the price and overall quality it's well worth it. ;)
 
Strange. Hope that doesn't mean problems with the mag!?

It's a British magazine and the work featured in it is exhibited in Britain.

Perhaps they should amend the title then...

"Contemporary Photography in Britain - shot anywhere but here"

Seriously though, is there a 'British Photography' mag that actually does just show Britain???

Just wondering as I've not seen it methinks, and it's sad if not

It is sad that we don't produce enough British talent to fill a magazine that comes out twice a year!

i see enough talent on this forum to fill a hundred magazines,
and thats in one days postings ;)
