Yes
i am thinking of putting together a portfolio, I know how to do this (endless portfolios at A-Level art and design and technology) but does anyone have any do's and don'ts i may have forgotten about?

General stuffs, bit of everything really, but I just need some re-assurance on the dos and don'ts, as it's been a fair few years since my portfolio days!

Well,
-strongest work only. Don't be tempted to chuck things in to beef things up.
-If you've got 2 or three takes on the same subject, just choose 1.
-Target it towards the audience

Is it to be printed or digital?

Digital work, printed, Thanks for above advice, I'm going to be doing some studio work soon, so I'll have lots of different things in there, I need it to stretch across as many different types as I can!

I would avoid going for an extremely diverse portfolio, unless you're using it for an art school interview or similar.

"Jack of all Trades, Master of None"- I have seperate portfolios for each area I work within.

As far as printed portfolios go, there are a few important things to consider: paper weight, paper finish, whether to mount or not, and the size of each print.
