Portmeirion, Wales

Greetings!

I'm new to this site and I'm just looking for some tips and advice about photography. I'm not a professional, I'm not even learning, I just take photos for pleasure, but I still enjoy constructive criticism.

I have a link to my most recent photos, from a visit to Portmeirion, where I explored the little village where "The Prisoner" was filmed, as well as the surrounding woods and Dog Cemetary.

I use a Canon Powershot SX100 IS. It's not the most efficient camera, but it does the job for an amateur like myself.

Welcome to the forums

Your pictures seem to be under the forums 800 pixel longest side limit so if you edit the tags from [url] and [/url] to [img] and [/img] .... your pictures will show in the thread.

I love the first two - the leaves and the misty lake shot. Wow, I'm a total novice but they really stand out for me, and incredible result with what I *think* is a bridge camera, right?
