Portrait images in landscape slideshows

Hi

I wonder if anyone can fling a few creative tips in the hat for dealing with portrait images in wide-screen slide shows

(I'm using Pro-show Producer)

I usually either use two images from one shoot or create a white layer the landscape size and drop the image on.

^ that and having a left hand only image then the same lh image with another image to it's right so it appears that the 2nd image just appears.

I'm not sure that makes sense.

Pretty simple. I present a single image per slide. If it's portrait, then it's centered on screen.

Thanks guys - I pretty much already tried all of these... I am going to try typesetting 2/3 images on page storybook style in layers next, taking on-board Phils ideas about multiple layers
