portrait lenses for sony a200

Do you have a focal length or price in mind?

The Minolta/Sony 50mm (f1.4|1.7|1.8) springs to mind, but depends on your requirements.

are you aiming to get a prime or zoom lens?i can highly recommend the minolta 50mm F1.7 AF,or if your looking at a zoom lens,then the sigma 18-50 F/2.8 is a belter...here's a few shots taken with it(18-50) on my A700

These were taken on an a200 with a Minolta 35-105, you can pick them up for around £50-60 on Ebay.

Just sold a minolta 50 1.7, they are excellent for portraits.
