Portrait Pics, Outside and Inside

In two weeks time I will be taking photo's of a local football team for a friend, only due to be having a nice camera, for there web site.

Some of the players said the team might get printed for there club house.

Which lens from my collection would you recommed and what settings.

Camera Body - Nikon D300s that has a 1.5222x crop factor
I will be using a monopod as I am not the steadiest.
Glass available (all Nikon)
35mm f1.8
24-70mm f2.8
70-200mm f2.8
105mm macro f2.8

We shot some images at the weekend of a footy match. We used the 70-200 2.8 and a 70-300. Both produced brilliant pics for their website & the local paper, we did have bright sunshine though
