Has anyone used the software portrait professional, and is it any good (y) :thumbsdown: :shrug: thanks andy
 
yes very good and very easy to us,
just a few clicks for a quick professional look
 
Yes it's not bad but you need to tone down the defaults a bit as it tend to be a bit over the top with the skin smooting/sculpting.
 
I've used it and agree with Wayne, it goes way over the top and you have to really dial it down to get anything looking human! :)

Personally I would skip Portrait Pro and get an older version of Photoshop (if you don't have this already) and then teach your self how to do the same thing in PS. Its easier than you think and looks better and you'll have better control.

Portrait Pro is just a fun toy really..
 
Also check out imagenomic portraiture, which does the skin softening part but doesn't have face sculpting (or at least the last version I used didn't)
