Portrait with fairy lights

With it being the xmas decorations season something I’ve been wanting to try is using fairy lights in a portrait, quite pleased with the result and have a few more ideas to continue with this but only so much cooperation/patience I can get from my moody teenager.

Couple of things I'd like to say about these.
I find the wiring in the bottom one a teeny bit distracting, BUT, they're both fantastic photos and the first one is absolutely gorgeous. I love the tone, and particularly thats its a well lit photo, when I was expecting a dark one lit only by fairy lights when I'd read the title.

Thanks for the comments chaps, regarding the lighting it was only a single speed light firing through a very cheap and nasty soft box but it seems to have done the job.
