Fully grown Extatosoma tiaratum (common name Giant Prickly Stick Insect)
Taken with Canon 5d mk 2, Sigma 105 ex dg and lit by Canon MT-24 ex macro twin lite.

I remember waking up to something very similar when I was about 20 ...... :puke: .... so I married her .... :LOL: ..... hope she doesnt read this or I may just die ..... :bat: ....

Wonderful detail as always , is the sigma a new addition ..... ??

Im planning on buying a Sigma 105mm off of a member from here end of the week, think i might have to have a browse through your macro stuff for some ideas.
Your pics are always fantsastic, and this is no exeption.

Mind your back Dave :D The sigma is an old lens I've had for about 4 years now I think.
