Taking a photo of a person with glasses on - seems like a silly question, but how do use AF in this situation. Without glasses you go for the eye, but I'm assuming the reason I'm not getting good results is because AF is being confused by the glasses?

I’ve previously seen a story about a photographer who carries spare spectacles without the glass in them for people shots.

His purpose was to remove any reflections from normal specs, but would help your situation as well?

Dougie.

We'll assume the glasses are actually in good focus. How about a tripod and manual focus? Or a small enough aperture for a decent depth of field?
