Posing newborns?

Had a shoot the other day with a 6 day old baby and found it quite limiting with posing the wee fella, had the shots of him lying down and some with parents and brother holding him.

Does anyone use any posing aids for newborns? I have a "bumbo" seat thing for slightly older kids, but nothing for that age!
