Possible fault?

Hi, I've just noticed that when I meter a scene in, for example, manual mode and set a correct exposure, for example f5.6 @ 1/250 the shutter doesn't fire at 1/250 it fires at more like 1/60. It does this in manual, aperture and shutter modes.

However, this only happens when I shoot RAW, when I shot JPEG I get the dialed in shutter speed.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
