Hi all you geeks (Soz) anyway I have a strange problem on my pc and wonder if anyone can help ??

The problem is:

When pc starts from cold I get no post screen till desktop comes on.
also some times the desk top is about 2inches from left side edge of monitor if I turn off monitor and back on all ok also if I do a reboot all ok.. Any ideas I think it's pointing to the graphic card !!!!!

I have done a full reload to try and solve this. With the latest drivers and a m/b bios update and still the same so I am miffed.. :bang::bonk:
 
If turning the monitor off and back on fixes the issue, it's more likely to be the monitor, not the gfx card.

Test a different monitor...
 
Have tried what you said also no on board graphics still the same..

I'd say it was your monitor that was playing up.

Beg / borrow / steal a loan of someone elses and see if that has the same problems
 
OK it seems as if it the monitor so thx for all your help but will keeep you all posted..
