Hi all,
As I am based on the Isle of Wight, I have been grabbing some frames of the Vestas protest this week, and sent them off to Solent News and Press Agency. Although I go an email response from them which stated there was not a lot of national interest (this was early in developments, before the nationals caught on), I have been told that my photograph was used in The Independent.
Due to no success with Solent News and Press Agency, I approached a small agency mentioned locally to me, MediaUKSouth. Within 5 mins of sending the email, I got a phone call, stateing that he laughed to see my photo (credited to Darren Toogood/SOLENT) in The Independent, because he had been trying for days. He asked what had gone wrong with Solent for me to approach MediaUKSouth. He then forwarded me this photo:
I have gone through the Sky News Newspaper Frontpage gallery system, however I can see nothing for Tuesday-Friday which looks anything like this.
Could anyone confirm if my photograph was used - It is an easy photo to remember. I have emailed Solent and The Independent however no response as of yet.
