Possible Pallas's Gull

This fella flew around us whilst we transitted north on the Suez Canal.

Am I correct in the Pallas Gull ??

Definitely not a Pallas' Gull. Looks like one of the eastern Herring Gull complex.

Not really, it's a Herring Gull. Just not sure of the race.

Given the location it's probably Armenian Gull, part of the Herring Gull complex but now given specific status, at least you can tick it, Pallas's Gull is not that common even there!

the concensus else where is the Armenian Gull. Great new species number 261 for me.
