Hi guys took some shots off the girlfriends pot pourri and thought these 2 turned out the best....any thoughts welcome :)

Sorry I can't help - photos just appear a little "bland", without any deep thought behind them, or just lacking any point for the eye to fix on? :shrug:

Sorry I can't be more constructive, and having gone to the effort to post, I know it's not nice to be ignored, so this is really just a "I'm not ignoring you", I just don't have anything particularly helpful to add...

What were you trying to achieve? Do you have any examples of what you were aiming for? There's not really any question asked in your post, so trying closing the question slightly?

I agree its definitely bland. the other thing is its too warm, maybe the tungsten lighting and failing to set white balance correctly.
