Beginner Practising on the local not so wildfowl..

Maybe a little bright in the whites - but a lovely duck portrait nonetheless.
 
Hi Simon, try and catch them in the shade or on a cloudy day, you'll get a more balanced exposure between the darker and lighter areas. Love Mallard drakes, they're often under appreciated. Good effort!
