press the shutter take the photo - problem

i have a bit of a problem i think with my 5d2, it happened a couple of times on saturday at my first wedding

the problem is, you take a photo, so press the shutter take the photo the review pops up it half freezes, you go back in to the play back and its not there

it just i lost a few shots from my first wedding that im raging about

any help?
 
When shooting such an important occasion, make sure you have a back-up camera. No idea about the 5D problem, but it doesn't sound good.
 
i had a backup, but when the moment is gone lol, its not much good lol
 
Problem with the CF card perhaps, maybe corrupted somehow? Try a different CF card, or reformat the one that's in it....
 
Never thought of that, I only noticed the problem twice, at the grooms first in the morning and at the reception, so I was using two different cards, but I have two cards older than the rest, maybe just past it, had them the same length of time as the camera so over two years

I might need to look in to that, do some tests
 
Strangely my wife had the same problem with her 400D, it was a low battery. Sometimes it's the simplist of things
