Pretty loud things at Ferry Meadows, Pweterborough

Last year I went to a small fireworks display and came away with some real rubbish. This year I made a concerted effort to put things right. Here's a few from the Ferry Meadows display in Peterborough.

I like them.
Particualy No1 with the white 'weeping willow' effect.
and No4 just appeals to me.
The other two are good as well.
I can see I need to get out more - in the dark

Not really an a area of photography I have any experience of, but to my eyes they are great shots. Might be tempted to add a little space above no. 3, should be easy enough to clone in the tips of the fire work.

Lovely pics! I grew up in P'boro and never went to the fireworks at Ferry Meadows Looks like they did a good show!

As I'm still learning my craft, I was wondering what settings, lenses and timings you used?

The display at Kimbolton castle is well worth attending next year. Probably about same time from Cambridge as P'boro
