Nice location, personally I liked the third it has a nice angle and you show the building well.
The first is nice, but the grass is a bit too processed for my liking.
I quite like the B&W specially the second and third.
 
Sorry I took the liberty to edit the first.
I desaturated the grass, desaturated a bit the house, tried to match the colour on the tree (top and bottom) and darkened the lower corners to avoid distraction in those areas.
I know is not perfect, but just to show what I ment.

I like 1 and 5, but the PP just seems a little ott for me...

the colour ones appeal to me more

thanks...i have an hdr programme which i will attempt to use
what was your software...really good results

A nice set of photos. I've looked through them a few times now and keep swapping between preferring the colour and mono shots. I think the improvements from Pablo have really helped #1 though.
 
Cheers joe. Yeah, they're all HDR. Hand held bracketed as well as I didn't have the tripod with me. And I do have to agree about the lawn mower. Didn't notice him at first!
