Mornin'.
My grandson attends a sort of pre-school nursery a couple of days a week.
One day, I went along with my daughter when she took him. While there, a lady was taking pictures of the kids using (from memory) a 450D, 50mm f/1.4 a white backdrop and studio lights.
I chatted to her about photography briefly and later my daughter bought a print via the nursery, mono, A4, £12.
When I looked at the print, it appeared that the tog had AF'ed on his dungarees perfectly and his face, and more specifically his nose, were out of focus.
My daughter is quite happy to keep the print as a record shot of the moment in his life and obviously it's her call and judgement.
I have no idea if twelve quid is a good price for this sort of thing but it shocked me that she couldn't even manage to focus on his face and then offer the image for sale!
