Print size from scan

I am sure there is an easy answer to this but I cannot think how this is going to work. I am scanning in some old pictures to make an album as a present I want them printed the same size as the orignals, which in some cases is 3" x 3" and 4" x 4". If I upload them to a printing site will they all be stretched to 6 x 4 or will they come back as original size? If they will be strectched how can I overcome this?

Very simple, increase the canvas size to the size that are supplied by the printer, which means you get a white border round the print that you can trim off if required.
