Hi All

I want to get some printable discs so I can print a image onto disc etc.... What I cant seem to find is large sized DISCS cos I can only find 4.7gb/120min discs I want enough space so I can put alot of images on such as partys ,weddings etc....

Will I find anything bigger than a 4.7gb? Andy help or links and of course a good reliable disc.

Many thanks for taking time to read

Dominic

What would you guys suggest for printing onto a CD/DVD?

I get all my printing done via a printing lab but unsure where to get CD prints done :s
Advise would be great :)

Hi Dominic,

I do this for friends and family (not to mention my grandson's judo club) quite a lot. DVD-R would be a better bet as more non-computer dvd players can read those than the +R variety.

The only option you have for more than 4.7GB is to go to dual layer which, not surprisingly, gives you 9.4GB provided you have a dual layer writer. Most dvd players can read dual layer - most films are more than 4.7GB so use dual layer discs. As has already been suggested you can get a LOT of images on a 4.7GB disc - about 450 NEF files from my D90!. I've never needed to use dual layer for that.

I print my own so can't recommend a source for that, sorry :)

I have a very good printer that I use to print onto the DVD-R.
