I have a canon Pixma 4500 printer and decided to try some different papers with it. I ordered a sample pack of Ilford and Hahnemuhle paper to try. I now find that most of the Hahnemuhle paper is too thick to fit through the printer (up to 410gsm).
I was considering buying either a Canon Pixma Pro9000 or 9500 but the new MKII versions are currently selling at their RRP which is too high so I have decided to wait on that.
Has anyone got any ideas on an A4 or sensibly priced A3 printer that will give results close to the Canon in quality and cost but that will print on the thicker papers.
