I need a printer around £50 that will be cheap to use but will provide decent quality prints documents etc don't need WiFi or scanning etc but don't mind if included anyone got any recommendations?

I would give a broad recommendation of any of the cheaper Epson or Canon printers. Both give pretty good quality prints, and both have a wide choice of cheaper non-OEM inks available if you want to print to an even cheaper cost.

I have a Canon but find the inks to be quite expensive have been looking at an Epson for £40 it seems it had individual ink things which are £10 each...

I have used these inks in a Canon printer (£3.99 each or £17.99 a set) , and they seem as good as the originals to me. If you really want cheap I've seen compatibles for around £1 each but I wouldn't like to hazard a guess on their quality.

Which specific Canon printer would you recommend?

I'm in the same boat as image warrior - I had looked at Kodak but then heard lots of not so good feedback.

I had narrowed it down to Canon or Epson.

Well I did a little research and found a Canon MG5250 reduced to £80 with 10% discount then a further 10% cash back so should be around £65 all told.

Gets really good reviews - just hope the WiFi is easy to set up.

I heard from various places that Kodak although ink is cheap you need to replace it twice as often!

Dave thanks will have a look...

I'd recommend a Canon printer, had an Epsom perviously and didn't like it / get on with it. Canon for me def much better.

The iP range of Canon printers are worth a look.
