looking to buy a printer for x/mas any recomendations looking for quality prints but watching the cost per print

any ideas ???
 
I have an Epson 1400 with an Ebay cis system and am really happy with both, I go on holiday for 4 weeks at a time and have never had a problem with clogging etc....will print upto A3+ and currently £270 at Walters

Michael, try www.dpreview.com FORUM> PRINTERS AND PRINTING there's a lot of guys who use different printers on that site and they may give you the pros and cons of the ones you are interest in.......also check out this website http://www.photo-i.co.uk/
Vince has done a review of a few printyers over the years and this is where I first saw the good reports on the Epson 1400.
