Printing green

I have a small issue with my Brother DCP 350c. It prints colour fine, but when I print B&W it comes out with a slight green tinge to the greyer areas of the print. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

I'm using Ilford Premium Satin paper if that's relevant, and am printing using Windows Photo Gallery on Vista.

Sorry for the bump, but I'm still having this problem. I'm now using Brother Innobella carts and the same Ilford paper. I've also noticed that colour prints also have a green tinge in places.

Can anyone help?

It is normal for this level of printers. You need a printer with at least 2 black inks which will be able to do gradient while printing B&W ...

Yeah it is mixing all the coulours to give you greyscale and so you get a tinge, either see if the printer has a black and white option so it will use the black for greyscale not the colours or get a better printer with more cartridges, normally shown as Black, Light Black and Light Light Black or similar
