Printing on Canvas

What do i need? special canvas? Special printer? special inks? any one know :) :) xx
 
Really, i cant print on canvas with a normal printer? do you care to ellaborate on what you think i do need?
 
Oh upon research No canvas DOESNT require a special printer, they dont even make them

Just a decent sized, decent printer that can take thicker materials :)
 
I use an Epson Pro Stylus 7000, will print 2' wide by 18 meters long.
 
Basically you need a commercial printer checkout makes
like Roland, Mutoh, Hewlet Packard,Epsom to name a few
you can pick up bargains if you go for an older models
but maintenace can be high, the inks are specialised and
the media normally has to be bought on 25mtr rolls 610mm
is about the smallest width the most common is 1370mm
which has a printable width of 1300mm

I have 2 Roland CJ500, they print onto vinyl, banner
material, photo paper, wallpaper, some fabrics and
Canvas. print width 1300mm

I cant really see the point of printing onto A4 canvas
unless your into minatures...expensive too!
